一、形容词和副词

形容词：

1. 放在系动词后做表语

2. 放在宾语后做补语

3. 放在名词前做定语

形容词无论做什么成份都是修饰名词/代词的

副词：

1. 副词短语作状语，修饰实义动词、形容词、副词、句子

二、什么是状语？

(一)状语就是在一句话当中修饰实义动词、形容词、副词以及整个句子的副词。

1. 副词：She smiles sweetly.

2. 副词短语：i tried again and again.

3. 介词短语：He runs fast like a crazy dog.

4. 分词、不定式：He leaves,crying.

5. 从句：i will return the boo as soon as

(二)成分：状语修饰除名词以外的所有成分。

定语只能修饰名词，状语修饰其他所有成分。

(三)位置：

随便放，但是当状语放到句首或在句中的时候，通常要用逗号隔开。

三、状语从句

状语从句的引导词按照引导词本身的词性来分类

一共把引导词分为9类：时间、地点、条件、原因、目的、结果、让步、方式

1. 引导词：when,as ,while,once,the moment

2. when、while、as的区别

   (1)when引导的从句，其谓语动词可延续可短暂。

   when the teacher came in,we stopped talking.(短暂性动词) when i lived in the countryside,i used to live a tough life.(延续性动词)

   (2)while引导的从句，其谓语动词必须具有延续性，强调时间段的持续性，也可强调主从句的对比。

   while my mother was reading the newsparper,i was watching TV.

   (3)as引导的从句，其位于动词具有延续性，表示一边一边，一般用于主句和从句动词同时发生的情况；也表示随着

   (4)until 和 not…until的区别

   i will wait here until you come. i will not leave until you come. 看主句的谓语动词，是瞬间动词还是延续性动词。如果是瞬间动词就用not…until,如果是延续性动词，就用until。

   I did not realize the greatness of mothers until i had my own daughter.

   直到我有了自己的女儿，我才意识到母亲的伟大。
